Scrooby’s Laboratory Service has been in existence since July 2000.
We offer chemical analysis and mechanical testing of various products. The laboratory is fully equipped to do wet chemical analysis on metals, oxides and certain aqueous solutions and spectrographic analysis on ferrous and non-ferrous products. Mechanical testing includes tensile testing, compression, bend test charpy impact testing and hardness testing. We also have access to highly knowledgeable metallurgical consultants for full failure investigations.

Scrooby’s Laboratory Service is well equipped to solve your chemical and mechanical requirements
Scrooby’s Laboratory Service is a Measured Entity with a BB-BEE Status of level 4. We are a Small family business (Exempt Micro-Enterprise) with a turnover of less than R 5 million per annum. This means our clients can claim at least 100% of their procurement spend at Scrooby’s Laboratory Service which then counts towards their own B-BBEE scorecard.
